Role Summary
Position: Pool Tiling Specialist
Location: (Varied) Work Sites from the Gold Coast to Ballina
Type: Full Time
Salary: Competitive pay rates based on experience + superannuation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision tiling for swimming pools, waterlines, and wet area surrounds
- Apply waterproofing systems to meet Australian standards.
- Prepare substrates through screeding, rendering, and levelling.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings.
- Deliver consistently high-quality finishes across all tiling and waterproofing tasks
- Coordinate effectively with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth project flow
- Follow safety protocols and project timelines.
- Participate in other pool construction activities and support the construction team when tiling work is not available, with full training provided to ensure overall project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Proven experience in pool tiling and waterproofing
- Ability to interpret technical plans
- High attention to detail and quality
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current Australian driver’s licence
Preferred Skills
- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or similar
- Waterproofing certification (e.g. CPC31420)
- Experience with luxury/custom pools
- Proficient with various tile types
- Background in residential and commercial pool projects
