The Pool Steel Fixer & Construction Labourer plays a critical role in the structural integrity of Dynamic Pool Designs’ projects by installing and preparing pool steel reinforcement in accordance with engineering specifications and approved construction plans.

This role combines skilled steel fixing with general construction labouring, ensuring every pool shell is built accurately, safely, and to industry-leading standards.

 This role is supports the delivery of high-quality:

• Concrete Pools
• Fibreglass Pools
• Pre-cast Concrete Pools
• Associated landscaping.

This role is hands-on and site-based, assisting supervisors and trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Dynamic Pool Designs’ quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Steel Fixing: Install, tie, and secure reinforcement steel to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Plan Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret structural and engineering plans.
• Structural Compliance: Ensure steel placement meets required cover, spacing, and support standards.
  
• Quality Control: Complete pre-pour quality checks and prepare works for inspection and sign-off.
• Cage Assembly: Assemble pool steel cages and reinforcement frameworks.
• Rectification: Identify and correct non-compliant steel works prior to concrete placement.
• General Labouring: Assist with excavation support, formwork, and site preparation.
• Material Handling: Cut, bend, handle, and store reinforcing steel safely.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all WHS policies and safe work practices.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and concreters.
• Site Support: Assist supervisors, trades, and construction teams on active sites.
• General Labouring: Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, cleaning, and material handling.
• Preparation Works: Support site set-out, excavation preparation, and base works.
• Trade Assistance: Provide support to steel fixers, concreters, tilers, plumbers, and landscapers.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials.
• Site Presentation: Maintain clean, organised, and safe work environments.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all WHS policies and procedures.
• Communication: Report issues, hazards, or delays to supervisors promptly.
• Customer Awareness: Maintain respectful and professional behaviour on client sites.
